1 star deducted because I bought them mainly for my 6 year old to put on himself. But the hole is so narrow that she can't fit her foot in it. I also find it very difficult to put my foot in. Once put on, the shoes fit. Her fingers can't reach the front of her shoes, so I know she's the right size, but it's too hard to get on her feet. The morning is now even more unpleasant. I'm afraid to try the next size up because I'm afraid her legs will move in too much and cause blisters. Otherwise the shoes look great.
