I chose them for the LEDs under the case and for the console backlight. I originally had 3000k, which was too yellow for my liking. I haven't had any adhesion issues, but they are also mounted on aluminum rails with diffusers. I'm guessing they're around 4500K. I have 4100K ceiling lights and they are a bit whiter. They look great, very close to my ceiling lights. They are a bit power hungry at full brightness (I have a dimmer). So if you're running at full bar or longer, I'd recommend getting a 12v, 3 amp or better power supply.
