This thing will slice you open!
I get that a shovel needs to be a bit sharp to dig in dirt, but this thing could be used to slice you open if you're not careful! The edges and especially the point are very sharp metal. There is no way this would be good to tote around in a backpack without risk of it slicing a hole in the pack. If you were to hang it off the pack, it would likely get you eventually. I sent it back and will likely just get a plastic one.
- To replace my lost #$@% shovel. This item is a requirement for hiking. Constructed very well.
- Takes up valuable space in a camping pack
