If you zoom in on the nose pads of my thin glasses you will see a handle on the back of the pad. This handle is inserted into the clamp. These nose pads also have a grip when you zoom in, but they don't have one. Rather, they have an internal slot for inserting a clip into the pad. The slot is not suitable for my purposes as it is too small to use it that way. They want the BEST close-ups and the best explanation. I asked for a replacement after explaining it the first time and was given another unusable pair instead.
