About a year and a half ago, for the reasons described above, I decided to purchase this mouse. During the course of the process, there were no complaints; on the contrary, the rodent was delighted with the adequate work that was done on all surfaces and was not in the least bit capricious. To this day, the wire at the bottom of the plug has worn out, and the mouse has begun to switch off by itself for no apparent reason. It is unfortunate, but in my perspective, for a device that costs 400 dollars, 18 months of solid operation is a pretty fair amount of time to expect from it. Now, about the sound that bothers some people while they are in this area: yes, both button hits and the scrolling of the wheel can be easily heard, but the volume is somewhere between a whisper and a normal conversation. Whom exactly this can be a problem for is something that I am unable to fathom. I'm planning to purchase precisely the same item.
