Review on πŸ‘ž Skechers Equalizer Persistent Slip-On Sneaker: The Perfect Men's Shoes for Loafers and Slip-Ons by Joseph Marshall

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Comfortable but the memory foam compresses and makes the shoe too stiff.

Very light shoe, although I'm used to wearing full running/hiking shoes. The mesh upper is very well made and looks beautiful. I have black with a gray sole and the gray is a little lighter than the picture but still looks good. The shoes fit as expected, not a bit loose but that's ok as they are slip ons. I bought them with the idea that they would be a little roomier and I was not disappointed. I have to deduct 1 star because of the memory foam. It seems to collapse fairly quickly at the pressure points, leaving the feet on the hard material of the sole. I wish there was some kind of gel or something under the memory foam. It doesn't look like it. I run so my right heel hurts from a plantar fasciitis injury last year. Was hoping the foam would provide more support but it flattens out. I will say that when you rest/sit the foam naturally expands back and hugs your foot - which is quite nice. I'll give the shoe a few more days and see what I think, but on first impressions I just wish there was more cushioning and not just a layer of memory foam that collapses.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Reliability
