This is a beautiful collection of food storage bags. They aren't as many mils as some of the others, but they have a liner on the bottom that makes filling easier, and they seem to hold more product than a folded pouch of the same capacity. I could fit 5 pounds of cornmeal in the size of a gallon. They seal easily and securely with a hair straightener, and won't melt or deform. I always pack products for long-term storage in airtight storage containers after filling, so don't worry about punctures, but they are not punctured during filling or storage, which has happened with other brands' pouches. The 4" x 7" pouches are perfect for a batch of homemade hot cocoa mix, and the zip closure means we can store them away for cleaning and reuse after the hike. I sealed them to make sure the mixture didn't squirt out while still leaving enough room to remove a second filling from it. I haven't found a use for the 6" x 9" or 3" x 5" sizes yet, but I think chips or snacks would fit perfectly in larger bags and condiments in smaller bags. Please note that the measurements are the external dimensions of the package, which include the top edge of the zipper and the sealed edges, not the measurements of the stuffing space. I took off a star because I highly doubt the 300cc oxygen scavengers. They are quite small and there is no container anywhere on the absorbers or packaging to indicate the size. I used 3 gallon bags just to be sure because they are very similar to other 100cc absorbers I already have on hand. I usually write directly on the bags with permanent marker, so I don't use labels, but this is a nice bonus that I'll probably use with my cans. All in all this is a great collection of very useful bags at a reasonable price.
