This was the cheapest scale I found at Revain with favorable reviews - all the best scales were between 4.2 and 4.4. It is very beautiful and easy to clean when dust or dirt accumulates on it. They seem to weigh two or three pounds more than our old scales; but I'm not sure which is correct and the most important thing is consistency so you know if your weight has been gaining or losing. It seems pretty consistent. It's also easy to use. Our old scales had to step on them and zero them; This scale allows you to simply step on it and get the weight. The display will move up and down, then stop at your weight, go off, light up again and stop at your weight. Nice feature. And even though it's small, it seems easy to balance on. Our old scales often went wrong; it doesn't require perfect balance—an important trait as you get older. Overall an excellent choice.
