Looks like a nice, well built and good looking cable but I really needed an active (rather than passive) cable. DisplayPort cable for use with the CalDigit docking station which I bought at the same time to use. I connected the DisplayPort end to the docking station and the HDMI end to my display. The dock turned on and charged my MacBook Pro, but my display didn't seem to be picking up a video signal, leading me to believe the cable was passive. I didn't see any specs that indicated if the cable was active or passive, and I couldn't tell if any other cable from iVanky was active. It's a good looking cable with a premium feel, it's just not the cable I want.
