It is possible that this monitor is suitable for most people. I'm not a huge gamer, but the hype around new RTX cards got me updating my build and I figured it was time to update my 24-inch 900p monitor. And so this monitor is worthy. 144Hz is good. While, to be quite honest, it wasn't as groundbreaking as many claim, I'd still like to say that the experience of using this monitor while gaming with headphones is stunning thanks to that ultra-wide curve. Plus, it's probably about as sharp compared to the 24-incher. However, for the past few years, I've used the Surface Book 2 as my main device. The Book 2's 13.5-inch, 3000 x 2000 resolution display is absolutely gorgeous, and I think I've been spoiled by it. I'm a game developer, a fan of RPGs and games of this type, so I'm going to try a 27-inch 4k 144Hz monitor instead. It won't be that exciting, but the loss of pixel density on a 34-inch screen is too much for me. I'll likely update this review once my new monitor arrives. UPDATE 10/27/20: My new monitor just arrived. 27 inches, so it's a lot smaller. However, the difference in sharpness is day and night. Colors also look a lot better since it's an IPS panel. This is the LG 27GN950-B for anyone interested That on a Nixeus monitor with a GTX 1060 I've had the occasional moments where my screen just went black. Not sure why this happened, possibly a bad block but something to consider. Overall, this 4k/144Hz IPS monitor is exactly what I'm looking for, albeit a lot more expensive of course.
