Is it as absorbent as a microfiber towel? No, that is not so. But I love him for that. I have long, textured, wavy hair and I usually style it damp rather than wet. So not only do I prefer a smooth fabric like a t-shirt to reduce frizz, I also don't want it to absorb TOO much water for the same reason. I also don't want something that absorbs too much product. This is the perfect towel. It also works to absorb enough water so my hair just gets wet (but not wet). So I can still apply products to my hair and no water drips onto the floor. I then use this towel to squeeze out excess water after applying my products. You may not like this towel if you are looking for something more absorbent. But if you're a wet hair lover like me, then this towel is perfect for you.
