Nowadays and given Bose's reputation, I'm surprised that this bluetooth speaker paired with my iPad or laptop does NOT work with all audio! I understand with hindsight that this was due to one of their software being incompatible with the Bose Revolve speaker, but even so, it's technically unbelievable to me that Bose won't take this into account, and the fact that software and systems do are constantly changing. ! Bose needs to develop products that can be updated or retired to accommodate the transition! The Revolve speaker doesn't work with Facetime, Zoom or Skype or any video calls! It also doesn't work with an external USB HD port on an iPhone (flash drive but slightly larger) with audio stored which I want to play after connecting the USB and finished audio files! I will not play! Cross-pollination is not possible at all with this speaker! It's useless if you just want to play music or watch Netflix etc. Even the old JamBox could do more than that! It was a gift and I was excited too :( Expect platforms to get wider to accommodate speakers like this, it's ridiculous that Bose expects this to happen.
