Review on πŸ‘— Vintage Women's 1950s Petticoat Skirts: Elegant Puffy Tutu Crinoline Ballet Underskirt by Carol Perez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great petticoat or petticoat; fits well, narrow waist + tulle not too tight, not too puffy.

This is a great petticoat/skirt. I wanted a tulle skirt as part of a Halloween costume, but I was having trouble finding a skirt that was roomy enough - not skimpy, but also not billowing like a cloud. This one will be perfect. I was concerned that it would only work as a petticoat and that two layers of tulle would not be enough to use as a petticoat, but the layers give the illusion of more layers, which is exactly how I envisioned it. I'm 5'4 and wear a size 14 so I'm not skinny and I definitely like the design of this skirt so it doesn't jut out right at the waist. not yet dressed) and the skirt is almost knee-deep. I let the skirt hang for a day or two which caused the tulle to unravel so that it fell gracefully from the waist. It also fits someone smaller than me, so does my daughter. I think someone a size or two bigger could wear it too. The skirt is well tailored and quite versatile, allowing the wearer to adjust whether the skirt should be high in the waist or lower in the waist. Hips, depending on your preference I don't have any vintage style dresses or skirts to use this as a petticoat but it is so fun to wear that I may have to invest in one! The current price is $19.99 which seems very reasonable for this simple but well designed (actually genius) skirt/skirt.
