Not designed for installation under an eaves

This Wasserstein 3-in-1 emitter was purchased to replace an old motion emitter under the eaves. They are NOT designed for this type of placement. Only one central fastening screw with threaded bush is used. Installation under an eaves is extremely difficult when the junction box is recessed. The screw (on the bracket itself) is long, but not long enough to make contact with the socket. This should be carried out with a cornice holder in addition to the wall. Placement of the Blink outdoor camera is very limited. You can only have it in a straight line (detection is best from the side, according to Blink). The camera comes with a mounting bracket, but it's very awkward to install due to the friction fit. The camera setting is limited due to its location. Wasserstein needs to rethink and redesign this fixture and the way the Blink Outdoor Camera attaches to it. Be sure to reconsider using friction-fit mounts, as the force required can cause the plastic mount to break. By the way, you need to attach this bracket to the headlight before adding the camera. Lighting. The LEDs are quite bright, emitting pure white light with a color temperature of 5500-6500K. The heads are fully adjustable and can be locked in place with a set screw once they are where they need to be lit. If you're using a Blink outdoor camera, you can disable night vision completely and see in full color. The light does not have a timer or sensitivity setting, but as long as there is a person or animal in its field of view the light will stay on. I have tested this theory and can confirm it. The connection is very simple. Each of the three wires is clearly marked. Make sure your device is turned off in that specific location. Either a switch or a switch. In my case turning off the light switch in the shed cuts the power so the connection is safe. If your circuit is always on (not a switch), you need to find the circuit it connects to in the electrical box. In the US, the color codes for hot are black (sometimes red or orange depending on how your premises is wired), white is neutral, and green is ground. The lamp does not meet these color standards, but again they are clearly marked. A NOTICE. A: If you don't want to do it yourself, hire a professional electrician. Conclusion. This spotlight is bright enough, but it needs a better mount for the Blink outdoor camera, and the mount needs to be designed for a curtain rod, not just wall mounting.

Pros
  • WIDE DETECTION AREA - Built-in ambient light and motion sensors ensure the light only turns on in the dark when motion is detected up to 10 meters away.
Cons
  • Drill Kit
