Review on 🎧 V-MODA Crossfade Wireless Over-Ear Headphone, White Silver: Unparalleled Audio Performance and Style by Andrea Dickerson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Bluetooth latency/delay is terrible! Excellent build quality, sound and noise isolation, low battery life

Audio/visual dialogs are out of sync because they were too cheap to include aptx with no bluetooth latency. At that price I assumed they would include it. guess again The battery lasts around 6 hours without recharging, so drinkers beware. I bought these because I was looking for a wireless headset with decent noise isolation and sound quality. I've searched all over the internet and these are the cheapest quality headphones I could find. Pros: - Good noise isolation (blocks sound from headphones without active "noise canceling" technology) - Excellent build quality and design - Sound quality on par with my studio headphones, standard professional use Sony MDR-7506 - Looks great Cons: - Terrible Bluetooth - Poor battery life of only 6 hours (my $40 headset lasted almost 30 hours on a single charge) - The headphones could have been bigger to cover my smaller average ears, I had to get the larger $20 V-Moda Order and pay for ear pads. Bottom line: they do what I wanted, ie they block outside noise. I live in Hollywood and it's very noisy there. Noise-canceling technology doesn't block sounds like sirens, helicopters, fans, gunshots, etc. Okay, gunshots are rare, but still. The sound quality is about the same as my Bose headphones but with better build quality and materials. The Bose and Avantree headsets are more comfortable, but they're a good compromise in terms of price, features, and quality.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Very expensive
