This deserves more than the two stars given to the only other reviewer as it is a thick, durable webbing with a very smooth and tight surface. Just notice that the fibers in the core of the belt are white. After making cuts, you need to hit the ends with a black marker and also quickly light them. There is also a slight difference in darkness between the sides, so make sure your straps are the same side up if you want your project to look perfect. Both sides are black but one side is a bit gray with a touch of green but you can hardly tell the difference. These straps seem very strong and last a long time, so I ordered more when reworking my design for my Jeep, where I'm building a cargo grid out of crossover straps secured into a grid with black grommets (very long because the Straps are thick ) which keeps my dogs from jumping out when the hard top is off.
