Review on Men's Double Knit Cuff Beanie Cap with Brim - Home Prefer Warm Winter Hat by Ryan Lawson

Warm but just to the point

I received the hat a day early. It looks like the picture but the edges appear to be plastic so I don't think they can be altered. It goes down the sides and meets my sunglasses but protects my eyes from the sun. It looks like the picture and fits well. It stretches a lot, but the more you stretch it, the more the knit will stretch, leaving gaps in the weave. I think this applies to all elastic caps. Worn yesterday in 33 degree weather with high winds around 13-15mph. He did a good job, but I think that's the limit of his effectiveness. I wasn't "cold" but I could feel the wind, especially around my ears. Also, the cap was flipped up, giving my ears double protection. I walked a few kilometers and again I didn't get cold, but I didn't get too warm either. I have never felt uncomfortable. I suppose it will keep you warm even in your 20s on windless days, but when the wind picks up you're probably looking for efficiency in your 30s. In general a good cap, I will take it for hiking and general walks in the area.
