PRODUCT OVERVIEW The positives first. I have incredibly large calves so I was afraid the calf sleeves would be too tight if I put them on. on the. They weren't. I ordered LARGE and they fit perfectly. They are dense but not too thick. The material fits well and is very well made. They wash well in the washing machine and keep their color and density. I've worn these dozens and dozens of times, washed them dozens and dozens of times and they still look and feel great. The reflective material is very reflective. I have tested this several times before running in the dark and have found that you can be seen well from a long distance. I feel absolutely safe walking down dark narrow streets with no street lights. When it comes to performance, these calf wraps are great. I know there is conflicting scientific evidence about the use of compression gear, some supporting its benefits and some debunking the "myth" surrounding them, but I can say from personal experience that wearing compression stockings on my calves has helped me has a lot. I don't care which side you're on in an argument. My calves used to hurt terribly after running and stayed like that for days. However, since I've been wearing compression stockings, my calves no longer hurt. They get tired, yes, but they don't hurt - there's a difference. I would recommend these compression stockings to anyone who runs or uses their legs for long periods of physical activity. Now for the cons. After several months of wearing compression sleeves, the reflective material started to wear off. Not sure if it's the washing machine excitement or the cold weather (I live in northern Michigan and run in very cold temperatures), but the reflective stripe on the back of the sleeves is a small start. flake off at the top edge. I won't let that stop me from ordering these cases though. In general, this is a very high quality product. SELLER RATING I received my package just a few days after I placed my order.
