I originally bought them to provide convenient lighting for an elderly relative who is blind. The switch is a bit cramped, but at least it doesn't turn on accidentally, and she can feel and find the textured button on top of the switch when needed. A simple tap for quick lighting is great for them! I used it to look deep into the engine when changing the air filter to find the clamps. It was easier to use between hoses than my phone and the light illuminated just what I needed. Can't speak to battery longevity yet but I know the grandkids will love it!
