Does what it should. I actually lost my phone while swimming in the river. He fell to a depth of about 8 feet and a height of about 6 inches. I spent about 30-40 minutes scanning the river bed for him with visibility of about a foot. Then I found it! It worked perfectly! I will say that the blue hull is not the best for underwater visibility. I suspect orange would be best for this and green would probably be worse. Maybe adding some highly reflective material around the edge would help.
