I ordered a sloth, he's super cute! This is a great fit for babies as it has the creature traits to keep babies happy/satisfied! The material is soft. It has a 2-sided texture that kids love. On the x1 side, it's a fur material with a tiny "animal head" sticking out in the middle. The X2 side is a fun striped soft cotton material (although I'd rather have it silky/satin than plain cotton. The kids seem to love the feel so much - mine would always find the satin border on any comforter and rub against mine to fill! ) The character is flexible! (Some of these animal faces might look a little sketchy or obsessive. And not in a good way! This guy isn't like that. He actually has a distinctive but cute sloth face!) I love the gnarly angles. As kids learn to explore, those touches and textures make all the difference! I loved those tiny knots that even a newborn hand can grasp. Size matters! This corresponds to the size of a burp cloth. This makes it easy to carry, pack away and stay light enough to take with you wherever you go. But no! It's not a security blanket - it doesn't offer any protection. just so you know! (I don't want anyone to think they ordered a duvet. Just get the dollhouse version! Believe me, I would have done that🤫.) Washing: Was this just posted to wash your hands? Tbh I didn't see that anywhere in my instructions or on any label.? So I decided to try it in the car. I only washed x1. and did this on my "hand wash only" cycle. I put this in a laundry bag (my HWO cycle is 13 minutes with minimal water and LOW agitation/spin). The results were what you would expect from a wet stuffed animal - but only one drying cycle on a delicate one. it came out fluffy, new + clean! *Share this in case anyone gets stuck in a machine wash t/p. That worked for me! (The X1 knot came loose, but can be easily fixed with a quick re-tie!) $$ is compatible with similar products. I chose this device because I needed a specific animal - a sloth!
