As far as I can tell the taste and consistency are the same as the bottle I previously bought from the store. At first I was concerned that the cap was sealed with tape and the type of bottle looked different than expected. But I read the label saying the foil should be removed before recycling, which led me to believe it was genuine. And I was thinking of a glued cap, and I suspect they do that because some people got a bottle where the cap came off. Mine arrived safely. I should have read the description more carefully as the travel bottle is not branded. I wanted to take it home as a small gift. However, I tried the water bottle before pouring the aromatic liquid. And it's too careful, but sometimes the atomizers don't work and this one seems to disperse the particles in a way that makes sense for the product.
