My adventure was very different

I bought this bag because I wanted something that would add some fun to a difficult journey and make it look quite Hobbit-like. I wanted to fly to California from Iowa to help my mother-in-law move here. I packed this bag with excitement and my daughter drove me 90 minutes to Des Moines. I wanted to spend the night in a motel near the airport and go for a walk in the morning. When I got to the motel I found I had left my ID at home! So she had to go back and pick him up. Hit one while I was on pins and needles until it arrived and then made it home safely. I got up ready for my adventure and I did it. My 5 minute walk down Fair Drive turned into fun when a massive thunderstorm hit and I still had to walk to catch my plane. There was no crosswalk on the street so I had to get in the water with my boots on. When I got there I was soaked, the bag was soaked. I put on a dry shirt in the bathroom, but my pants, socks, and shoes were soaking wet. So of course I turned on the detector, the lower part of me caught fire and I left big wet marks on my stockings. I was not searched, but stroked. Then I got on the plane wet, flew wet and cold to Phoenix and only warmed up in California. The bag is somewhat waterproof but not waterproof. There was some discoloration where some of the leather color seemed to have worn off, but not much and it made the rest of the ride look stylish. Oh it gets better! After loading a U trailer and a trailer I had to haul along with 2 cats and 8 songbirds in 4 cages into a packed Tahoe, I found that it had no air conditioning and the temperature was 108 degrees. The door handle is broken and has a wire; When I pull it it comes loose so I have to crawl over on the passenger side. And no radio. Anyway, in Beaver, Utah, a tire on a trailer started coming off, so I replaced it at a ruinous price. I get to Gypsum, Colorado and one of the Taho's rear tires blows out! It's 5:30 am, only one place is open and he weirdly doesn't get the size up until the morning and there are no motels so I sleep in his parking lot. I leave again the next day at 9am after trying to sleep right in the parking lot. I'm coming to York, Nebraska when the engine head bursts. I was dragged into town and stayed at another hotel. The next day, I rent a U-shaped van, load my stuff off the Tahoe, hitch the trailer, and drive home at 5:00 p.m. So, the 3 day trip turned into 5, I bought 3 tires and lost the car. The only thing that didn't disappoint was the bag. I still use it a lot. It reminds me that despite the fact that the trip was awful, I met a lot of good people, saw a lot of America, and arrived safe and sound, if a bit tired. It was my companion in difficult times. I hope when you buy it it will serve you as well as it has served me.
