I bought two of these cabinets and had my handyman assemble and install them over the summer. I moved to a smaller house and the bathroom, while nice, had limited vanity space. I chose these blocks because they were large enough to hold many items but flat so they wouldn't encroach into a narrow bathroom and "clutter" the limited space. The price was also a consideration. The cabinets were hung on either side of a rustic white framed mirror and together they looked beautiful. I am very happy with the cabinets. They look great in the bathroom and hold loads of toiletries etc. Exceptional value and as my handyman assembled them (I didn't, I'm clumsy when it comes to such things) they are very sturdy. The cabinets have been up for months now and are easy to keep clean - wipes off fingerprints (if any) and dusting the top (where I have decorative items) is easy to dust from time to time. Very happy with this purchase, quality and price. There was a slight smell about a week after installing the cabinets, but it went away. Luckily they were installed in the summer so I could open the bathroom window to air out the room. There is definitely no smell coming from the cabinets now (any wood preservative or fumigant?). However, for sensitive people this can be a problem - install in the summer, when there is an opportunity for airing.
