Terrible Hinged Lid is best for storing food
The jar is perfect. However, there is a valve on the lid that doesn't close properly. Not good at sealing anything from the elements. If it's ant season and you have ants and sugar in that jar, you're in trouble. I had a few of these at Dollar Tree and they work great. However, I replaced them with these to match my farmhouse decor, but it was definitely a bad choice. The valve on the lid is of poor quality and cannot be kept closed.
