Not Just a Tire-y Old Adaptor I got TopAd Truck Adapters to help me mount my aftermarket wheels on my Chevy truck, which has a 6X5.5 bolt pattern and a hub-centric diameter of 78.1mm. The adapters are well-made, with a solid 1.25" thickness and a nice machined finish that matches my wheels' look. The studs are also great, with durable 14X1.5 threads that fit snugly into my lug nuts, and they come with black caps to cover the exposed holes. However, what let me down a bit was the center bore size, which is listed as 108.1mm but was actually a bit bigger, around 110mm, as confirmed by my caliper. This caused some vibrations and noises at high speeds, and I had to use a hub ring to reduce them. I wish the manufacturer had been more accurate with this spec, or at least allowed some tolerance. Also, the adapters are quite heavy (around 9 lbs each), so they add some unsprung weight to my suspension, affecting the ride quality and handling to some extent. Overall, I'd say the TopAd Truck Adapters are a decent buy if you need to match a certain bolt pattern, but be aware of the center bore issue and the weight factor. I give them 3 stars out of 5.
