It might be worth the price, but not by much.
We bought this remote for our elderly uncle to minimize the "button confusion" of a traditional remote. It lasted just over a week before the back fell off and required some tape to stay put. And over the next week the power switch fell off. After three weeks, the channel switch fell off. We bought replacement units expecting they would fail but were unable to return the first unit as it expired within 30 days. To me, it's like renting a remote control for like $2 a week. The positive thing was that the device was very easy to program and worked very well in operation.
