Good for trying out some oils and balms without resorting to a large bottle and/or bath only to find you don't like the product. Baddass makes great products. Patriot is my favorite from this set and I bought a 2 ounce jar of balm. The original and the biker are the rest in my top 3. Bergmann is good. Viking Oil was thrown away after the first use. I used a balm as it had a very faint scent. The ladies man or the pirate didn't really bother him. My set had Secret Agent (unscented) instead of Outlaw so I can't talk to him. Smells are subjective. What I like may not be what you like and this set gives you a chance to see what YOU like. The oils are pleasant and the balms melt easily in the hands and lay well on the beard. There are no clumps or particles that I have seen with some balms. You will get 2-4 days sample each depending on how much you need to use.
