I was concerned about the choice of size because I am a 10 year old female and have large calves. Judging by the chart I would have been S/M but it didn't seem right. But I went with him and they are perfect. So when in doubt, just follow the size chart. Very good compression and they don't stretch. My legs feel much better and fuller in these socks. I've had them for a month now and they're holding up well. No holes or stretched areas. I am very happy with these socks and would order them again.
