Slightly shorter than a traditional white disposable mask. The metal nosepiece is made of thick plastic with the thinnest wire inside, so it doesn't hold the nosepiece in place and takes the shape you bend it tightly like a flat, wide band of metal on a regular paper mask. Also, the nose wire is shorter than a regular mask so it doesn't bend the nose (I have a short to medium length nose). This is a problem both because of the inability to produce a snug fit, which is necessary to protect the mask, and because the goggles do not fog up. Also, because the plastic and wire nosepiece doesn't hold its shape, it's difficult to wear the goggles on the bridge of your nose as that unruly plastic pushes the goggles up and down from the mask. As for the three layers, I cut open the mask to understand why it is so hot and uncomfortable to wear. The outer decorative layer is transparent and light, the middle layer is very thick paper. I can only compare it to a premium paper napkin. He's not breathing. The fibers are very dense. It's probably good protection but the mask makes it uncomfortable and I was sweating in the conditioner underneath. The back layer appears to be the same as the top layer, only colorless and translucent. Due to the thick middle layer, I found the sides of the mask didn't lay very well against my cheeks, but the mask holds up. fairly flat, resulting in gaps on the sides. Here, too, the mask must be seamless in order to offer good protection. I have found that roughening the mask before putting it on softens it and fits it a bit better. The cords are hot pressed to the reinforced rim of the mask, although some (so far) have come loose/broken and become unwearable once fitted. Seller's bags. I didn't remove every mask from the plastic bag it came in. These masks are not individually wrapped. I stopped using them after three days/5 masks. I will keep them should there be any mask shortages in the future but I will definitely not be buying from this manufacturer again and they are not worth the higher price compared to a basic mask.
