The atomizers are really great - they give off a very fine mist with almost no effort. Ideal for spraying plants, mushrooms etc. The spraying mechanism inside appears to be some sort of pressure control system (not just a hose going into the liquid). Comes with some sort of liquid (presumably water) that sprays right out of the box, but it's also meant to be used as a test or as a way to keep the seals wet. I just went through and rinsed it and sprayed a few times to clean the mechanism. I am very happy with the sprayer!
