We love all things riff but we are not satisfied with this pair of slippers as the ankle strap is attached in a way that heals the sore spots rubbing against our baby 's broad feet . . Maybe narrower legs would fit better. We ended up clipping them (good thing they're designed so we can do that without damaging the rest of the shoe) and he learned to wear them without them. For a super agile 4 year old, these back straps can mean the difference between a great day at the playground and serious chafing on the knees/elbows/chin.
