I bought two surge protectors because of their convenient location and modest size. Overall, the layout is perfect and the performance is okay. with one exception: the power button. It's more prone to tripping, lightly/accidentally, than any other power strip I've had. The switch may use more resistance and/or be additionally embedded in the housing of the surge protection device. Of the two strips I purchased both were disabled by accidental contact. Luckily, both are designed to be tablet-powered, so the worst case scenario is that the tablet loses external power and runs on battery power for a while.
