Review on Heavy Duty Round Boot Laces For Work Boots And Hiking Shoes - 1/8" Diameter, 1 Pair By Miscly by David Stover

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love seeing people complain about "thin " laces being thin.

Yes they're thin. They're supposed to be. 1/8" exactly as described. But for being that thin, they feel pretty tough.I normally like a fat heavy indestructible shoe lace and heavy boots. These thin laces are not for every scenario. I got these for a pair of Keen work boots that have flat laces (which become "partly round" laces after a little wear and twisting). I love the boots, but I hate the flat laces. The holes for laces are really small and a little awkward. I had been hesitant to replace the laces until I saw these "thin" laces and thought I would give them a try. The thin size is perfect and the look goes great with the boots, but unfortunately, I was too lazy to take my laces out and measure them and, with these boots, 6 eyelets needed 63" laces, not the 54" that I ordered. My insteps are kind of big so I tend to stretch shoes out and the eyelets on these boots are spread out in a unique way. I should have known better. The 54" laces are just long enough to tie, but only barely. I love these thin laces in these boots though, and I'll be eventually ordering a pair in 63" length because they are a great solution to my flat laces problem.Great product, but check your length!

Pros
  • Purchased for my combat boots. Very stylish. Will order more.
Cons
  • Thinner than I expected, will have to see how they hold up
