Great sunglasses, purchased matte black frame, platinum mirror lenses

I have several Smith sunglasses that I use for cycling, these Ruckus sunglasses are a welcome addition. I bought a matte black frame with a very dark platinum mirror. Lens, only 12% visible light transmission (VLT). They're perfect for bright summer days and the oversized lenses offer excellent coverage. A thin plastic fitting runs at the top of the glass, and there is a ventilation slot at the bottom. Although the glass offers more coverage than my old Attack and Pivlock lenses, the width is the same for a medium fit. The platinum lens is great. Not sure what the ChromaPop tech does, but everything is crisp and clear, and the gray-based lens doesn't add any weird artificial hues to the image. The updated Pivlock mechanism works well as Smith has reinforced the corners of the lens. The original Pivlock simply had a hole drilled in the lens, which was far more fragile and uncomfortable. A photochromic color that ranges from 20% VLT to completely clear, perfect for cloudy days or low light situations. I finally got mine 85% off the regular price through the Revain Warehouse deal. I always look for a stock deal when I shop at Revain, sometimes I get lucky and get a real bargain.
