The belt loop is not suitable for permanent use.
I love the case. It's durable and easy to use, but the leather loop that attaches the case to your belt is made of thin leather stitched onto the case's sturdy leather. I've already had half the stitches unraveled and there's no doubt that I'll have to start looking for a replacement soon. I held back because I really like this case. It seems almost impossible to me to reinforce or reattach it satisfactorily.
