I was looking for an extra set of reading glasses after my 1.50 Foster Grant Alumineyes kept falling apart and I wanted reading glasses in more places. I wanted rimless glasses with straight arms as the hooked ones get in the way of my ears. Since I couldn't find other Alumineyes for the strength I needed, I decided to look at other brands' offerings. That's when I noticed these. They're very reasonably priced (I paid less for 6 of these than a pair of aluminum eyes) and do the job just as well. They might not be that durable, but I don't need them - I only need them for reading, so they're not "permanent glasses" anyway. So I have glasses in every room of the house, as well as glasses in the car and laptop bag. No more worrying about forgetting them when I have to go to a meeting! I also like that the lenses aren't that tall - they're perfect for seeing when you need to without having to take them off.
