I bought it for my autistic son. Noise and vibrations do not bother him. prefer it to a regular toothbrush. cleans, but not as well as a regular toothbrush. has difficulty accessing misaligned teeth. We use regular toothpaste, just lather it up with a regular toothbrush, it's a lot cheaper and more effective than buying foam toothpaste, works just as well.
