I love these travel socks because they help prevent DVT. I have medium and they fit great. (I usually wear women's shoes 9 or 9.5 M). The size chart also includes ankle and calf measurements for a correct fit. The socks are jet black in color and look like regular black pant socks. They are not difficult to put on or take off. When I wear them I feel firm calf support, but they're still comfortable and easy to move around in. Care instructions: I hand washed them with a mild detergent for dark colors and some of the color came off. I think it's best to wash them separately. However, after washing and line drying, they look fine.
