WOW! This $10 hair color just saved me about $100. and my hair almost looks better than my stylist's! First I have to say that I am NOT good at doing my own hair. And coloring your own hair is almost unheard of; too scary! But this hair color not only did what it promised, my hair looks better than it did when I last visited the salon. I followed the directions and did a strand test to see how long it took me to process my color. While I started the process by following the directions, dividing my hair into 4 sections and working on 1/4 inch sections, I soon found just doing my hair a bit labor intensive. So I changed the way I did it a bit so I could handle it myself (i.e. make slightly larger sections; divide the hair into 2 sections, push most of the hair to the left or right side of the head and pulling the sections as they are progress.But even with slight variations the end result is amazing.Here are some of the things that stand out about the product: 1. My hair ALWAYS tends to go more golden than I would like but it doesn't the color stayed true 2. I've had issues with scalp burning in the past - AT SALON - I didn't have that with this product 3. Thought my hair would be dry and lifeless afterwards but it's not, it's shiny 4. The product didn't smell too much 5. I have long hair, there was enough product for all my hair.. 6. And although my hair is turning grey, I'm a brunette, didn't expect super blonde results but got them! like that, a ls this could be my "colorist in the box"! (.and I didn't even have to tip him!
