Well Made Inexpensive Small Flower Frogs

I don't do floral arrangements. I work with hot glass and often use flower frogs to create even, symmetrical bubbles in the glass. However, I have bought many of these over the years. The way we use them, they don't last as long. The teeth can bend and the material will be damaged if repeatedly exposed to glass at 2000 degrees. These flower frogs are beautifully made and cost about half what our local flower wholesaler charges! I will share this with other hot glass artists because I think it's a very good price. They come individually boxed which keeps them in good condition and also reduces the risk of injury when you take them out of the box. They are very small and suitable for lampwork artists. One of the photos I posted has other flower frogs I have in my studio for comparison. They are the smallest and are therefore suitable for detail work or beadwork. For those who use them more traditionally, they are very beneficial, solid, well made and, I suspect, the smallest size.

Pros
  • Size: 0.9 inch diameter base, 0.75 inch high, 40 grams per flower frog. Please note the size, a small bowl of low cut flowers is better
Cons
  • Some mistakes
