I rarely write reviews on products purchased from Revain but I wanted this product and how it performed vs KT tape rave. I purchased KT Tape (KT Tape Original Cotton Elastic Kinesiology Therapeutic Therapeutic Tape, 20 Pack, 10” Cut Strips) and was very disappointed when the KT Tape came off within the first 20-30 minutes of my run. I used a KT product to bandage my knee and was very diligent in cleaning my skin with alcohol and even used a razor to shave my knee after it came off the first few times. It didn't matter and 20 minutes into the run I had strips of CT tape around my knee! :(This KT tape was advertised for 1-3 days and is quite expensive compared to other brands. I chose (Hampton Adams (2 Pack) Kinesiology Tape for Physical Therapy Athletes - Elastic Latex Free, 16ft Waterproof Kinetic Uncut Kinesiology Tape from pain in knees, elbow and shoulder muscles - black) The base of this tape is well defined (solid blue lines every 2 inches) and I cut out 2 strips of 10 inches and one strip of 5 inches and fully taped the right knee firm support, just like I applied KT tape I didn't use alcohol to clean my skin or even shave I could tell right away the adhesion was excellent and the elasticity was active I went out for a 6 mile run which usually takes me 55-60 minutes and lo and behold no peeling issues.I got home went in the shower and the tape is holding.I'll continue to wear the tape for the rest of the day and no signs of peeling (FYI, I rounded the edges of the ribbon with scissors mi mi when cutting). I'm incredibly impressed, I'm looking forward to the performance and I think part of my excitement comes from the disappointment and frustration I got from recording KT. What a flop for a widely acclaimed and expensive KT product! I figured it shouldn't be that hard to make a tape with enough adhesion for 30 minutes to an hour of training, let alone a day or two. It is possible to buy a more expensive KT-Pro tape for better adhesion, but a must! This Hampton Adams tape is cheaper and performs much better than KT's original cotton tape. Very very satisfied! The knee support is excellent and my knee feels stable and the pain has been greatly reduced (note I have never used kinesiology tape before and this was my first foray into this direction). To update. It's day 4 now, Hampton Adams' bond still holds! What can I say? I'm sold!
