While many car chargers can be found at very reasonable prices, some should not be used with USB-C devices. USB-C voltages are much higher than traditional USB, and poor circuitry or lack of surge protection can damage your device. I ordered this for the advertised features of 3 ports, smart charging and surge protection. The icing on the cake was the added benefit of fireproof plastic. I wasn't disappointed when I received it. It is very well made and the device charges my iPad and phones like a champ. Having USB-C with two traditional USB ports will help me a lot as I transition to USB-C over time. I would recommend this charger to anyone who needs a quality charger for their devices.
