Review on 🐠 Aqueon QuietFlow 10 E Internal Fish Tank Power Filter - Small Size, Suitable for 10 Gallon Fish Tanks by Candace Carpenter

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Compact and powerful

Works very well for a tiny little filter. The pull of it is shocking. I was trying to prune my plants today and some of them were sticking to the sides and I wanted to rip them off and was surprised at the force they were pulling. It's also very small, so I was able to mount it on the back of the tank with suction cups and forget about it. It's barely visible against a black background and takes up just enough space for me to easily bypass it without too much trouble. My shrimp and snails can easily get into the filter but so far it seems perfectly safe for the shrimp to do it. If you do not want fish to get into the filter opening, you will either have to fill the aquarium very deep or lift the filter very high out of the water, which will prevent the filter from being inserted. lid on. I wanted mine to be under the rim so mine is heavily submerged. The only thing I don't like about this filter at all is that the activated carbon filter, when installed, slows the flow dramatically, causing a film to form on the surface. water by slow motion. Anyway I don't normally use carbon cartridges in my filters so I removed them and now the flow is very good. The film disappeared as soon as I solved this problem.
