I bought the "silver" version because I wanted aluminum plates. The writing surface with the clip attached at the top is not metal at all. It's basically glorified cardboard with silver foil over it. Aluminum components are as thin as possible and are not called "foil” per se. And any hope that it's even slightly tight is completely destroyed by a hole in the back! The hole is actually intentional; no defect. Apparently they thought some people would want to hang this item on the wall like a painting. For real? Was the teardrop hole on the back really the best solution for this totally unnecessary feature? There isn't a single end user that this article would really be suitable for. Maybe it could serve as a prop.? It's garbage. And for $30 you can do way better!
