I like the aesthetic of these boots. The leather is good quality, though not high end. Colour is good with nice medium shine to the finished leather. The faux tweed trim looks good enough. Nicely sized wax laces work well for these boots. And I like the soles with red trim on the grippy parts.They fit a bit larger than normal for my size, so I'll have to wear thick socks and consider insoles. Also the toes are more pointy than the pictures suggest.The rounded padding at the top of the boot is a bit hard and may take some wearing in before they soften. The tongue of the boot seems shorter than it ought to be for comfort on the front of my ankle. And with the leather all being a bit stiff out of the box, I'll have to wear these a while to get them broke in.
