This product has a short shelf life and the company makes no guarantees. After using this cover for about 1 year, my child had an accident while this mattress pad was on the bed. I was shocked at how wet the bed had gotten. I removed the mattress, examining the sheet for perforations in the fabric. I couldn't find any holes. It wasn't until I took it outside, stretched it out, and doused it with water that I could find microscopic holes everywhere for it to seep through. We washed carefully with warm water and a sheet and dried our clothes on a slow fire. We had to send in a mattress cover to make a warranty claim. After several phone calls to update the status (no one said anything about the status) after about 3 months they rejected our complaint via email saying they had found a perforation in the protective coating which would void the warranty. So they basically give a guarantee on the protective coating, but if there is a perforation then the guarantee is void. lame. To make matters worse we bought 3 of their high end mattress pads and they all had the same issue after about a year. Save money and find another solution.
