The soft part folds by itself and does not keep its shape at all. It was easier for me not to use it at all because I was uncomfortable with the cotton pad digging into my shoulder. As if that wasn't enough, the lining slides all over the belt so it doesn't stay where you put it. The reason I give it two stars instead of one is that the clamping mechanism on the ends is well designed. I like this part. This strap might work if you're carrying something light, but it's not suitable for carrying a small medical device like I do at work. The search for the best bracelet continues.
