Last month I tried very hard to be happier, calmer and have a different outlook on life. Clearly, working in the healthcare industry in the ER has not been the easiest of tasks, especially given the current situation for almost a year. I found myself writing affirmations and notes around my house to remind myself of this, but of course they flew right out the window as I walked through those doors to work. I only wore the reminders for one day and noticed a big difference. They caught my attention during shifts and reminded me what I wanted to do. I would recommend it to anyone who suffers from low self esteem or just wants a better attitude.
