Protects the iPad screen from minor scratches and scuffs, reduces glare and provides a smoother drawing experience. This slightly reduces color and sharpness as the film adds a subtle grainy texture to the filter. Lots of installation instructions and tools to apply an iPad screen protector, but I found the installation a bit of a mission. Difficult to apply screen protector, incorrect labeling and a defective cloth that left black thread marks on the screen. Bersem immediately solved the problem with the replacement. The second attempt was successful with a combination of new cleaning, then dust removal stickers on the back of the screen protector to collect stray dust, and a combination of the included breadboard tool and the curved part of the plastic card wrapped in a microfiber cloth to wipe down any remaining Remove air bubbles. After 1 week of use, the tip of the pencil wears out with a slight pressure sensitivity adjustment curve. A worn pen is like drawing with a scratchy ballpoint pen, lasted 4 days before it started scratching the screen protector. Another brand pencil wore out within 7 hours and finally scratched the protective film. At medium pressure settings, original Apple Pencils seem to last 5 days to me. 1 month later. 2 pens used in 2 weeks. In the middle of the screen, where I draw the most, the texture has faded almost smoothly. The last pencil tip lasted 2 weeks with only a few signs of wear on one side. The initial deep scratches are almost invisible, but the screen is riddled with micro-scratches. The screen collects a lot more sweat, sebum, and dust, so I have to rub and clean it at least once a day. This is a good screen protector if you plan to spend more on pencil tips with regular use.
